I am a wood artisan working out of my home in southwestern Ohio. I use a combination of electric and hand tools to create a range of wooden furniture, vessels, and implements of my own designs. Salvaged wood, unmarketable as lumber, is my primary raw material. Every selection is unique, attractive, and designed to be used. Each piece is crafted to utilize the wood's natural grain to its best advantage, in regard to both its visual appeal and its structural integrity. A large amount of my wood stock is gleaned from local forest floors, or from the burn-piles of local saw mills; the remainder is largely custom-sawn from unmarketed portions of larger trees. All glues, epoxies and finishes are natural, food-safe products.
